This past weekend, Ernie and Kyle went to Mammoth on a father and son camping retreat with a group of about 60 boys/fathers from church. They left bright and early at 5:00am on Friday and got back around 3:30pm on Sunday just in time for Camp Wallaballa (a musical that Kyle was supposed to be in if he hadn't gone on this trip). It was a 6 hour bus ride each way and the report is that Kyle napped from time to time and did alot of sight seeing.

They had to lock up the food at night so the bears wouldn't get it. As you can probably imagine, I wasn't very happy to hear that there were hungry bears up there.

I'm really glad they got to go on this trip. I know Kyle had a good time and made some really great memories.
